Description:

Even without faces shown, we can feel the emotion that runs through this artwork. Lines emphasized through pen and ink call the eye toward the language every human speaks natively: body language.

One person’s arm wrapped around another communicates as clearly as facial expressions and exposes the connection in this relationship. Blurring and horizontal lines add to the sense of boisterous, jubilant movement of friends reunited.
